A Crisis of Basic Survival
In rural Uganda, systemic poverty and the devastating legacy of disease have left thousands of children orphaned or living in extreme vulnerability. Before a child can even dream of education, they must first survive the day.
Nearly 30% of children in our operational districts suffer from chronic malnutrition, stunting both their physical growth and cognitive development. Without safe shelter, consistent meals, or protective guardianship, these children are rapidly pushed into the margins of society, becoming prime targets for exploitation and child labor.
